SCHOOL-BASED THERAPY

School-Based Therapy Services are delivered under current individual educational plans (IEP’s). The therapy interventions are provided within the educational setting, typically in the classrooms or other learning site on campus.

Our school-based therapy services utilize individual, group, and classroom activities. Goals and objectives are collaborative established with the educational team.

PHYSICAL
THERAPY

Physical Therapy focuses on preserving, developing, and/or restoring physical function in children.

Some areas physical therapy providers treat in children include:

Range of motion
Strength
Muscle tone
Balance
Coordination
Motor planning, and ambulatory skills

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational Therapy focuses on all activities of daily living, these can include dressing, feeding, playing, coloring, and more.

Areas that can be assessed and addressed include:

Fine and visual motor skills
Visual perceptual skills
Self-help skills
Bilateral coordination skills
Sensory processing skills

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY

Speech and Language Therapy focuses on developing verbal and non-verbal communication, oral-motor, and feeding skills.

Speech Language Therapy services can address:

Articulation
Language
Feeding
Fluency
Voice
AAC
