21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC)
UCP 21st Century Program Initiative
UCP Charter Schools are pleased to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Florida Department of Education to create 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) at our UCP Pine Hills, UCP Downtown/BETA and UCP West Orange Charter Schools for approximately 120 K-5th grade students.
UCP Charter School's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Program will provide high-quality, hands-on academic and personal enrichment through Reading/ELA, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM), Character education, Health & Nutrition, and physical activity. Engaging academic, cultural, artistic, and recreational enrichment activities will support each student's academic growth, particularly in the areas of math, reading, language arts, and science during after school time. Academic programs are taught by Florida certified teachers with a focus on hands-on projects that have real-world applications which reinforce and compliment their regular school-day academics. Educational opportunities for adult family members of participating students will also be provided!
This program is FREE OF COST to all participants! Eligible participants include students at UCP Charter Schools and Orange County residents attending private schools. All participating students must comply with the program's mandatory attendance requirements.

The UCP of Central Florida’s 21st Century program is funded through a generous grant from the Florida Department of Education’s 21st CCLC programs. Through this grant, UCP of Central Florida is able to provide academic and enrichment opportunities to students with and without disabilities to K-5 students at three program sites. The 2018-2019 school year marks the first year of this five-year initiative for UCP of Central Florida and we are excited to continue to grow and continue to spark students’ curiosity for learning.
