UCP Charter Schools are pleased to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Florida Department of Education to create 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) at our UCP Pine Hills, UCP Downtown/BETA and UCP West Orange Charter Schools for approximately 120 K-5th grade students.

The purpose of the UCP Charter School 21st CCLC EXCEL (Extending Children’s Experience and Learning) Program will be to provide high-quality, hands-on academic and personal enrichment through Reading/ELA, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM), Character Education, Health & Nutrition and Physical Activity. This program is free to all participants.  

Eligible participants include students at UCP Charter Schools and Orange County residents attending private schools. The program began in January 2019. 

After School Program: Monday – Thursday – 3pm – 5:30pm includes after school snack.

Camp Day Program: All day programs on designated non-school days during the school year includes breakfast, lunch and snack.

Summer Program: All day programs on designated summer days includes breakfast, lunch and snack at:

  • UCP Downtown/BETA Charter Schools, 4680 Lake Underhill Drive, Orlando, 32807

  • UCP Pine Hills Charter School, 5800 Golf Club Parkway, Orlando, 32808

  • UCP West Orange Charter School, 1297 Winter Garden-Vineland Road, Winter Garden, 34787

UPDATE: 7/15/2019 - UCP Charter School LEA has submitted an intent to apply for the Florida Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Center for the UCP East Orange/Bailes and UCP Transitional Learning Academy Charter School School Year 2019-2020
